Lo-o-o-o-o-ve the Portrait Peasant!

I’m in sweet pattern love. I won this pattern on the Scientific Seamstress Lab Group’s Facebook page, though if I’d known how much fun it is to sew, I would have shelled out my money for this PDF long ago. The pattern, “Portrait Peasant” is by Carla Hegemen Crim (pattern-maker extraordinaire) and there are numerous options: long sleeves, short sleeves, cap sleeves, ruffled or non, dress or top–even doll versions! Below are only a few of the many combinations possible with this pattern:

The pattern comes together in a wink! The tiered ruffle top did take a couple hours, but all the other versions came together in one. Absolutely love it!
